How it works
- Add the entries. Type them in, import a spreadsheet, or snap a photo of each one.
- Choose what to score. Turn on judging and list the criteria, one per line: taste, creativity, presentation.
- Send each judge their link. Add judges by name on your dashboard. Send each their private scorecard link, or let them scan it from your phone.
- Judges score as they go. Every score saves by itself, and your dashboard shows how far along each judge is.
- Announce both awards. When voting closes, the judges’ award appears beside the people’s choice. Print a certificate for each winner.

Fair by design
- Each judge has their own private link. Remove a judge, and their link and scores go with them.
- Scores stay private until voting closes, and nobody ever sees which judge gave which score.
- Each criterion is averaged over the judges who scored it, so a judge who misses an entry doesn’t drag it down.
- Scorecards never show the entries’ QR codes, so scan-only voting stays scan-only.
- The people’s vote keeps its own protections: one vote per phone, per-network limits and optional paper tickets.
Frequently asked questions
Do judges need an app or an account?
No. Each judge opens their private link, or scans it from your phone, and scores in the browser.
How is the judges’ score worked out?
Judges score each entry from 1 to 10 on every criterion. Each criterion is averaged over the judges who scored it, and the averages are added up, so with three criteria an entry can score up to 30.
Can judges change a score?
Yes, until voting closes. Every score saves as they tap, and they can come back to it on the same link.
Can I see the judges’ results before everyone else?
Yes. Your dashboard shows the standings and each judge’s progress as they score. Everyone else sees the judges’ award once voting closes, or never, if you keep results to yourself.
Can I change the criteria after judging starts?
You can rename criteria or add new ones. Once judges have scored, you can’t remove one.
What if a judge’s link gets passed around?
Anyone with the link can score as that judge, so send it to them only. If it leaks, remove the judge (their scores go too) and add them again for a new link.
Can I print certificates?
Yes. The print page makes a certificate for each winner, or the top three, in the judges’ award, the people’s choice and any other awards, plus a one-page results sheet.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. It’s free, with no ads.
