A QR code suggestion box

Hang one QR code where people wait, eat or work. They share an idea from their phone, upvote the ones they like, and see what you’ve planned and why. You reply once to each idea, mark its status, and combine the duplicates. Free, with no app.

How it works

  1. Make the board. Name it and add up to 10 categories, like “Hours” or “Programs”. A retro is three of them.
  2. Put up the code. Print the poster for the counter, the break room or the newsletter.
  3. People share and upvote. Hot puts new ideas in front for a while; Top and New are a tap away.
  4. Answer back. Mark an idea under review, planned, doing, done or not doing, reply once, and combine duplicates so their upvotes add up.

Great for

  • Library, school and town suggestion boxes
  • Team retrospectives
  • Customer and member feedback
  • Event and conference ideas
  • Workplace improvement ideas
  • Parent and community groups

Fair by design

  • One upvote per phone on each idea.
  • Per-network limits and flags catch anyone upvoting again from a fresh browser.
  • Ideas go up at once, or wait for your approval if you choose; you can hide any of them.
  • Anyone can report an idea, and nobody, you included, can see who posted it.

Frequently asked questions

Do people need an app or an account?

No. One scan with the phone camera opens the board in the browser. You get a private organizer link instead of an account.

Can I answer an idea?

Yes. Give each idea one reply, signed the way you choose (“From the library team:”), and a status people can see.

What happens to duplicate ideas?

Combine them: the duplicate folds into the original and its upvotes move there. The person who posted it sees where it went.

Can I use it for a retrospective?

Yes. Use the retro categories (what went well, what didn’t, what to try) when you create it, then sort by Top together.

Are ideas anonymous?

Yes, unless the person adds a name. Nobody sees who posted, organizers included.

How many ideas can one person post?

Each phone can post 5 ideas of up to 280 characters. A board holds up to 1000.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. It’s free, with no ads.

What happens to the ideas afterwards?

They stay until you delete the board, and it’s deleted automatically 90 days after it closes. You can download every idea as a CSV.
