How it works
- Pick the questions. Write your own, import a spreadsheet, or deal them from the question bank by category and difficulty.
- Choose the pace. A clock that moves on to the next question by itself, or no clock, and you move it on.
- Open the big screen. It shows the QR code and how many players are ready. Teams scan it and can add a team name.
- Play. Each question goes up on the screen and players answer on their phones. Then reveal the answer and the standings.
- Crown the winner. The final results rank the scores, fastest first on a tie. The winner shows a claim code you check on your dashboard.

Fair by design
- No question reaches the phones before you put it up, and no answer before you reveal it.
- Late answers don’t count: answering closes when the answer is revealed.
- One player per phone, so nobody plays twice for a better score.
- Claim codes can’t be guessed, so the prize goes to the real winner.
- Marked a wrong answer? Fix it, even after the game, and every score updates.
Frequently asked questions
Do players need an app?
No. They scan the QR code on the big screen with their phone camera, and the game opens in the browser. There’s no PIN to type and no account.
Is it like Kahoot?
It plays the same way: questions on a shared screen, answers on phones, standings after each question. Players join by scanning a QR code, you don’t need an account, and it’s free.
Can teams play?
Yes. Each team plays on one phone and adds a team name for the leaderboard.
Can I pause or skip ahead?
Yes. On the clock you can pause, resume or reveal early. Without it, you move each question on yourself. On the big screen, Space takes the next step.
Where do the questions come from?
Write your own, import a spreadsheet, or use the question bank: our own starter packs (general knowledge, science, sports, food and more) and thousands of questions from Open Trivia DB, which your quiz credits on the phones and the big screen.
Can questions have pictures?
Yes. Add a picture to any question, like a flag, a logo or a landmark to name.
Everyone’s on the pub’s Wi-Fi. Is that a problem?
Raise the limit on phones per Wi-Fi when you create the quiz, or later in Settings, to fit the crowd.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. It’s free, with no ads.
