Live Q&A for talks and town halls
Put one QR code on the screen or the door. People ask from their phones, upvote the questions they want answered, and you take the top ones from the host view while the big screen shows the one you’re answering. No app or account for anyone. Free.

How it works
- Make the Q&A. Give it a name, and choose whether questions wait for your approval and whether people may add their name.
- Show the code. Print the poster or open the big screen: it shows the QR code, the question you’re answering and the ones coming up.
- The room asks and upvotes. One upvote per phone on each question. People can edit a question until someone upvotes it, or delete their own.
- Take the questions. From the host view, put a question on screen, mark it answered, and move on to the next most upvoted.
Great for
- Town halls and community meetings
- Conference talks and panels
- All-hands and team meetings
- Lectures and classes
- Ask-me-anything sessions
- Church and club gatherings
Fair by design
- One upvote per phone on each question, so one table can’t push its question to the top.
- Per-network limits and flags catch anyone upvoting again from a fresh browser.
- Approve questions before they show, or let them go up at once and hide any that cross a line.
- Anyone can report a question, and nobody, you included, can see who asked it.
Frequently asked questions
Does the audience need an app or an account?
No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and ask in the browser. You don’t need an account either: you get a private organizer link.
Can I screen questions before they show?
Yes. Turn on “Approve posts first” and new questions wait on your dashboard until you approve them. You can hide any question later, or pause new questions at any time.
Are questions anonymous?
Yes, unless the person chooses to add a name. Nobody sees who posted, organizers included.
How long can a question be?
Up to 280 characters. Each phone can ask 5 questions in one Q&A.
Can people change their question?
They can edit it until someone upvotes it, and delete it any time. Organizers can hide questions but never edit them.
Can I run the Q&A from my phone while I talk?
Yes. The host view works on a phone: tap a question to put it on the big screen, then mark it answered.
Will a room full of people on the venue Wi-Fi get blocked?
Raise the limit on phones per Wi-Fi in Settings to fit the room.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. It’s free, with no ads.
What happens to the questions afterwards?
They stay on the page until you delete the Q&A, and it’s deleted automatically 90 days after it closes. You can download every question as a CSV.
