QR code quizzes
Print one QR code. People scan it, answer your questions on their phone and see their score right away. Add a leaderboard for bragging rights. No app, no sign-up, free.
How it works
- Write the questions. Choose one, choose many, yes/no or a short answer; tap the right answer under each, and add a picture if you like.
- Print the poster or open the big screen. One QR code for everyone. Play at your own pace, or run it live: one question at a time on a projector, and you reveal each answer.
- Players scan and answer. One try per phone. Their score shows the moment they finish, or as each answer is revealed.
- Crown the winner. The leaderboard ranks scores, fastest first on a tie. Winners show a claim code you check on your dashboard.
Great for
- Pub and trivia nights
- Classroom reviews and exit tickets
- Museum and exhibit quizzes
- Fair and festival contests
- Team meetings and icebreakers
- Wedding and party games
Fair by design
- One try per phone, so nobody retakes it for a better score.
- The right answers stay secret until the quiz closes.
- Short answers match loosely: capitals, accents and punctuation don’t matter.
- Claim codes can’t be guessed, so prizes go to the real winners.
- Per-network limits and flags; void any response, and fix a wrong answer key at any time.
Frequently asked questions
Do players need an app?
No. The phone camera opens the quiz in the browser.
When do players see the answers?
Right away they see their score and which answers were right. The correct answers themselves appear when you close the quiz, so they can’t be passed around.
What if I marked the wrong answer?
Fix it on your dashboard, even after people have played. Every score updates.
Can I run it live, like a pub quiz?
Yes. Put the big screen on a projector and step through the questions: players answer on their phones, and you reveal each answer and the standings.
Is there a leaderboard?
If you want one. Names are optional; ties go to the fastest player.
Can someone retake the quiz?
No. Each phone gets one try.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. It’s free, with no ads.
